The first batch of products will be freely distributed to full-time JD.com Express riders, and will gradually cover all riders. The new device integrates functions such as AI voice assistant, intelligent route planning, merchant environment verification, and order note reminders, aiming to improve delivery efficiency, rider safety, and user service experience.

According to the official introduction, the AI smart helmet supports voice interaction throughout the process, allowing riders to complete tasks such as accepting orders and calling users without operating their phones, especially in complex environments like rainy days, reducing manual operations and improving delivery safety. In addition, the helmet has a "Single King Route" function, which digitizes the delivery experience accumulated by experienced riders, helping riders quickly find destinations such as complex communities and hidden buildings through voice navigation, reducing the chances of getting lost or taking detours, and improving delivery timeliness.

Furthermore, the AI smart helmet adds a "Merchant Environment Verification" function. When riders pick up meals at the store, they can use AI assistance to check the store environment. If any abnormalities are found, the system will automatically mark them, further complementing JD.com Express's previous in-store merchant identification system, enhancing the transparency of the platform's catering services.

For user experience, the helmet can automatically interpret order notes and proactively remind riders of special requirements before delivery, such as "just leave it at the door" or "do not ring the doorbell," reducing delivery issues caused by missed notes.
