On July 27, Zhang Jun, the public relations director of Tencent, announced that Tencent's office AI agent WorkBuddy has officially been launched on the HarmonyOS PC app market, becoming the first desktop office AI agent within the HarmonyOS ecosystem. According to the introduction, the team collaborated with HarmonyOS experts to overcome core scenarios such as system login, computer connection, skill invocation, and product preview, and quickly completed system-level permission adaptation.

Based on HarmonyOS's underlying capabilities, WorkBuddy also launched the "Touch & Share" feature, which is not yet available on other mainstream systems. As a desktop office tool with native AI capabilities, this AI agent has covered 17 industries, supports more than 140 AI applications, and 22,000 plugins. This launch on HarmonyOS PC not only demonstrates Tencent's determination in building an AI agent ecosystem, but also confirms the underlying strength of the HarmonyOS system in supporting complex AI applications, promoting the evolution of desktop office towards intelligent and seamless solutions.
