Tencent's AI office tool WorkBuddy has officially launched its standalone file browser feature today. Users can directly call the browser to view and edit files by right-clicking on the target file in the system file explorer.

The new interface features a fresh layout with document content displayed on the left and AI conversations conducted on the right, allowing local files to be seamlessly integrated with AI large models. The system supports tab switching to handle multiple documents at the same time, and automatically keeps the conversation history of the corresponding files synchronized.

Supports Multi-format Mixed Human-AI Collaboration, Results Saved in Real Time

This feature is widely compatible with mainstream office and web file formats such as Word, Excel, PPT, PDF, and Markdown. Users can ask questions or request summaries from AI at any time, and they can also select specific paragraphs of the main text to let AI perform targeted rewriting, polishing, and content supplementation.

When working on editable documents, AI modifications are automatically synchronized to the current interface. Users just need to manually click save or press a shortcut key, and the changes will be directly written back and overwrite the original local file, greatly improving daily office work and document processing efficiency.
