Recently, Tangsteel officially launched an integrated production scheduling large model. By deeply integrating historical production data with intelligent optimization algorithms, it achieves intelligent scheduling throughout the entire process from order acceptance to finished product delivery. The system can analyze line status, material inventory, and equipment load in real time, dynamically generating the optimal production path, which improves overall production efficiency by 20%, while significantly reducing inventory levels and improving on-time order delivery rates.

More importantly, this model is evolving toward "green manufacturing." Tangsteel plans to incorporate energy consumption, carbon emissions, resource recycling rate, and other environmental protection indicators into the scheduling optimization goals, promoting the transition of production decisions from "efficiency first" to a dual-driven approach of "efficiency plus low carbon."

In terms of core technology self-reliance, Tangsteel has made significant breakthroughs. Its independently developed intelligent converter steelmaking large model successfully broke the long-term foreign monopoly, achieving full domestication of core control software for steelmaking. This model uses high-precision prediction of molten steel composition and temperature, dynamically adjusting process parameters such as oxygen blowing and material addition, not only improving smelting efficiency but also significantly enhancing the purity and mechanical properties of steel, providing technical support for the development of high-end products.

Currently, AI large models have been scaled up in multiple key process links at Tangsteel, including sintering, ironmaking, steelmaking, and rolling, forming a comprehensive intelligent factory system covering the entire chain of "planning-execution-control-optimization." As a leader in regional industrial intelligence, Tangshan City has promoted 89 artificial intelligence application scenarios in the steel and related fields, covering seven directions: production scheduling, quality control, equipment maintenance, energy management, safety monitoring, logistics collaboration, and environmental monitoring, with significant results.

Tangsteel's practice shows that AI is not only for the Internet or consumer electronics industries—within complex and large-scale heavy industries, large models are becoming the core productive force for achieving high-end, intelligent, and green transformation. When a steel plant is equipped with an "AI brain," the solid foundation of Chinese manufacturing is being redefined.
