Rapidus Corporation and Tenstorrent Inc. announce a collaboration agreement to jointly develop semiconductor intellectual property for AI edge devices based on 2-nanometer logic semiconductors. Tenstorrent boasts the best RISC-V CPU IP technology and is accelerating the development of cutting-edge devices through its partnership with Rapidus. Rapidus is constructing Japan's first advanced logic semiconductor production facility at 2 nanometers and below, with plans to commence trial production lines in 2025 and begin mass production in 2027. Rapidus will also enhance Japan's industrial strength through partnerships and actively promote collaboration in the field of intellectual property.
