Today, the Xpeng Robotics production line was officially launched. The world's first high-level general-purpose humanoid robot completed automated assembly and autonomously left the production line, marking Xpeng Robotics' successful transition from R&D prototyping to production line manufacturing, and taking an important step toward mass production.

Addressing the industry pain points of humanoid robots remaining in small-batch, semi-manual assembly stages with extremely difficult large-scale manufacturing, Xpeng Group independently designed and developed the world's first high-level humanoid robot automated production line. This production line integrates the mature quality system of the automotive industry with the precision manufacturing of humanoid robots, creating a product quality system for high-level humanoid robots with automotive-grade consistency standards.

In terms of technology and process, this production line was developed in a forward manner with the goal of mass production. The core manufacturing processes have an automation rate of over 80%, building a high-precision, highly flexible, and intelligent manufacturing system. It not only ensures the stability and consistency of key processes but also lays a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale production and rapid expansion.

He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of Xpeng Group, stated that this automated production line is a new type of production line created from scratch, with no precedents to follow. Xpeng is committed to developing new robots with full-generalization capabilities. The successful implementation of the automotive-grade manufacturing system in the field of robotics not only verifies the feasibility of cross-industry manufacturing experience empowering hardware innovation, but will also further accelerate the transition of humanoid robots from laboratories to commercial large-scale applications.
