The AI video creation platform Higgsfield announced a $400 million Series B funding round, with the company's valuation reaching $5.4 billion. Just eight months after the previous funding round, its valuation has increased from $1.3 billion to $5.4 billion, more than four times higher. DST Global led this round, with participation from Goldman Sachs' alternative investment fund, Valor Capital, Tribe Capital, and others.

Higgsfield was founded in 2023 by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov, and mainly provides AI image and video generation tools. The company previously gained attention for showcasing AI-generated films at the Cannes Film Festival and New York Film Festival. It has now launched products such as Cinema Studio and Marketing Studio, targeting film production and marketing advertising scenarios, respectively.

The company disclosed that its annualized revenue has reached $700 million, with operations covering 200 countries and regions, and a user base of 30 million. It has also established partnerships with 390 companies from the Fortune 500 list. Mashrabov stated that enterprise clients are accelerating the integration of AI video into daily marketing and creative workflows, making the enterprise market one of the fastest-growing areas for Higgsfield.

This round of funding will be primarily used for hiring, product development, and computing power investments. Mashrabov pointed out that video generation is one of the most computationally intensive applications in the AI field, with the processing required for generating one minute of video equivalent to 60,000 words. As competition with manufacturers such as Synthesia and Runway intensifies, continuously securing stable computing power will become an essential foundation for supporting product scalability and commercialization.
