According to Sina Technology, Xiaohongshu is accelerating its AI strategy comprehensively, focusing on AI social products and AI community interaction tools. It has shifted from backend technical applications to front-end self-research, productization, and ecosystem development. A source revealed that Xiaohongshu is offering high salaries to attract AI talents, especially those with strong AI-native product thinking, to invest in the independent R&D of a series of AI products. According to job platforms, the salary for the "AI Social Product Manager" position ranges from 30,000 to 60,000 yuan per month, with 16 pay periods, and the maximum annual salary can reach 960,000 yuan, showing its determination to strengthen its presence in the AI social field.
The responsibilities of this position include leading the design and development of AI companion products, exploring in-depth applications of AI in dimensions such as emotional connection, interest matching, and personalized interaction, and building a warm AI companion experience. At the same time, Xiaohongshu is also recruiting a "Comment Interaction AI Product Manager," aiming to deeply embed AI capabilities into the community ecosystem through functions like AI comments, AI character interaction, and smart replies. This position also offers a maximum annual salary of 960,000 yuan. The simultaneous recruitment of these two core positions outlines Xiaohongshu's dual-line AI strategy: one focusing on companionship and the other on community penetration.
Organizational Upgrades and Technical Reserves Go Hand in Hand
Xiaohongshu's AI transformation has had hints before. In May this year, the company announced an internal letter about a new organizational upgrade, with core changes including the establishment of an AI-level department called Dots and the Enterprise Intelligence Department, significantly increasing investment in AI from both product technology and organizational structure aspects. This adjustment marks the elevation of AI from a supporting tool to a strategic business direction, with a significant increase in the priority of resource allocation and talent recruitment.
