Recently, Tencent officially launched the Mac version of PC Manager. This version addresses the long-standing lack of system-level "manager-type" tools in the Mac ecosystem, and introduces four core capabilities: cleaning and acceleration, AI application security, privacy protection, and AI application aggregation, aiming to provide comprehensive system protection for Mac users.

In this release, the most notable feature is the built-in "Lobster Manager." As the first security tool specifically designed for AI applications in the industry, it provides full-chain security protection for currently popular AI agents (AI Agents). As the capabilities of AI agents continue to expand, new security threats such as malicious Prompt injection attacks, script vulnerabilities in agents, and abuse of AI application permissions are becoming increasingly severe. "Lobster Manager" builds an independent "security sandbox" for each AI application at the system level, which not only can intercept malicious prompts in real time but also performs deep vulnerability scanning on the underlying components of AI applications. When an agent attempts to call system commands, read or write files, or access the network, it will implement strict reverse behavior-level monitoring.

As well as defending against AI applications, this version has also made significant upgrades in privacy protection. For the four most critical privacy channels—camera, microphone, screen capture content, and automated operations—the new version directly upgrades the original macOS "prompt-based" passive authorization mechanism to an active interception defense. Users can also block them with one click, greatly enhancing their control over sensitive data.

In terms of basic system maintenance, the Mac version of PC Manager inherits the traditional advantages, offering one-click cleaning and intelligent acceleration functions. The system supports a three-in-one scan of system garbage, app cache, and browser traces, and also includes practical features such as large file deduplication and similar photo filtering.

In addition, to help users quickly access cutting-edge AI tools, the software includes an "AI Application Plaza." This plaza aggregates mainstream AI tools both domestically and internationally, such as Yuanbao, QClaw, Workbuddy, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek, allowing users to experience a complete closed-loop process from discovery, installation, usage, to comprehensive protection in a secure environment.
