Vodafone and Microsoft have entered into a 10-year strategic partnership, committed to providing digital platform services for over 300 million businesses, public sectors, and consumers across Europe and Africa. The focus areas of the collaboration include generative artificial intelligence, IoT expansion, digital and financial services, and the optimization of global data center cloud strategies. Vodafone will invest $1.5 billion to jointly develop cloud and customer-centric AI services with Microsoft. The partnership will also drive digital acceleration in Africa, enhancing the lives of 100 million consumers and 1 million small and medium-sized enterprises. In terms of business growth, Vodafone will expand the distribution of Microsoft services, supporting approximately 24 million small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe.
