OpenAI Unveils Safety System to Ensure the Safety and Reliability of AI Large Models


At the State Council Information Office's launch event for the "14th Five-Year Plan," the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced that during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the global cumulative downloads of China's open-source AI large models exceeded 10 billion times. This milestone demonstrates China's strong capabilities in the development of open-source large models and highlights the influence of Chinese AI technology in the global open-source ecosystem.
On August 24, according to a report by Insider in the United States, the world's largest AI open source community, Hugging Face, is considering a full sale, with potential transaction valuation possibly exceeding $13 billion. Hugging Face was founded in 2016 by Clement Delong and Thomas Wolf, and it is headquartered in New York. The number of publicly available models has approached 3 million.
Wang Xingxing, founder of Yushu Technology, revealed at the 2026 World Robotics Conference that the company will promote the self-evolution of physical AI robot models and explore using AI large models to generate robot control code automatically. The day after listing on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board, he stated that the company plans to take cutting-edge large models as the core, define rules, experience frameworks, and constraint tools on its own, autonomously search for the latest papers, achievements, and open-source solutions, generate code, and conduct model evaluation and manual review.
The pessimistic narrative of AI large models burning money has been broken. Financial data disclosed by Anthropic shows a commercial breakthrough. Its preliminary revenue for the latest full quarter reached $11.5 billion, representing a growth of more than 13 times compared to $787 million in the same period last year; its revenue for the first quarter of this year was $4.73 billion.
