On October 12, smart ring manufacturer Ultrahuman announced a two-year memorandum of understanding with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC), officially advancing the development and clinical validation of a biological age model across the United Arab Emirates.

The model integrates clinical biomarkers with wearable device signals to accurately assess individual aging rates and deeply identify key influencing factors such as sleep, activity, and metabolism.

As part of its core strategy to scale health algorithms, this underlying model has a hardware-agnostic feature and will be fully integrated into government digital health platforms such as TAMM, making it available to residents across the country. This move indicates that health technology companies are accelerating their shift away from reliance on single hardware sales toward preventive health management based on algorithms and big data.
