Google is testing an AI assistant for home scenarios called CC, which connects to email, calendar, chat, and task management services in the new version. It helps family members coordinate schedules, manage to-do lists, and handle shopping lists, meal plans, and permission forms. Google stated that this upgrade stems from user feedback, with users wanting the AI to further participate in children's school schedules, sports training, bills, and family life management.

CC was initially a personal productivity tool that connects to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, and generates a "Today's Schedule" summary. In May of this year, it entered the Gemini app in the form of a "Daily Briefing." The new version of CC has its own Google account, allowing collaboration with up to six family members, and enabling members to choose independently which information to share, such as school activities, sports events, and medical appointments. CC can also identify important dates and to-do items, automatically updating shared calendars and task lists.

In addition, CC runs on an independent cloud computer, supported by Gemini and Google's AI system Antigravity, and performs tasks such as filling out PDF permission forms, generating shopping lists, planning weekly meals, calculating travel time, and creating shared documents. This experiment is currently available only to individual Gmail users in the United States who are 18 years or older. New users can join the waiting list.
