On September 10th, local time, OpenAI announced that it has temporarily suspended new registrations and upgrades for the ChatGPT Pro $200 plan (Pro 20X), affecting users on the Free, Go, Plus, and Pro $100 plans.
Existing subscribers to the $200 plan are not affected, and new and existing users of the $100 plan can continue to use it normally. OpenAI stated that users of the $200 plan who cancel or downgrade will not be able to repurchase this plan until the suspension ends, after the current billing cycle ends.
