On September 10, 2026, the first roundtable session of the main forum at the Inclusion · Bund Conference, titled "When Agents Become Trading Entities," was held. Zhang Xinyi, CEO of Ant Group, joined Jorn Lambert, Chief Product Officer of Mastercard, Liu Zuohu, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer of OPPO, and Zhou Jingren, Chief Scientist of Alibaba Group, to discuss the industry changes brought about by the integration of agents into consumer, transaction, and payment scenarios.

Zhang Xinyi pointed out that the supply and demand sides of agents have not yet formed a positive cycle: users want to use them, but merchants lack mature agent services; merchants do not see users using them and are hesitant to invest in development, creating a "chicken or egg" situation. He described Ant's role before the agent boom as a "catalyst," solving security and trust issues and driving the supply-demand ecosystem flywheel to make merchant agent services found, used, and continuously improved by users.

He also predicted that future business traffic may shift from "time spent" to "intent." Users just need to express their needs, and personal assistant-like agents will complete matching and transactions, while business marketing will shift from traffic investment to providing precise services based on intent. Meanwhile, large models and agents can transform personal experiences into replicable service offerings, opening up new spaces for life services and professional services.

He revealed that Alipay's "Abao" will launch an agent incentive policy to support developers and provide corresponding incentive channels for users to express new needs. Regarding large-scale implementation, the four guests agreed that building intelligent agent business infrastructure is the most critical.

Zhang Xinyi summarized the trust mechanism into five aspects: authorization, identity, capability assessment, fund security, and liability tracing. In addition to user KYC and merchant KYB, it also requires "Know Your Agent" (KYA). Jorn Lambert emphasized that the payment network needs to ensure agents accurately understand user intent through "verifying intent." Zhou Jingren stated that intent understanding also relies on context organization and proactive questioning when uncertainty arises, and the execution layer needs a配套 permission management, traceable, and audit system.
