Lenovo Group and Haier Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Lenovo's global headquarters in Beijing last week, with senior executives from both sides, including Yang Yuanqing and Zhou Yunjie, present. As AI moves from technological breakthroughs to industrial applications, the two companies will leverage their technical and ecological advantages to promote the deep integration of computing power and scenarios, exploring new paths for AI empowerment of the real economy.

Five Key Areas of Cooperation, from Data Centers to Home Robots

The agreement is centered on "computing power empowering the real economy, scenarios feeding back to technology," covering five areas: building an end-to-end integrated data center with "computing - electricity - cooling" and advanced facilities such as liquid cooling energy saving; deepening global supply chain collaboration to reduce costs and increase efficiency; integrating Haier Casco platform with Lenovo's computing power and urban super intelligent entities, and jointly creating "computing power + platform + scenario" solutions using the experience of "Lighthouse Factories"; promoting Lenovo AI PCs and other terminals to be integrated into Haier's smart homes, and co-developing home robots; and jointly building industry standards and joint investment mechanisms.

For Lenovo, this is a key move in finding real application scenarios for AI terminals; for Haier, it is an opportunity to strengthen smart homes and industrial internet with external computing power. Both companies aim to integrate "devices + computing power + services" into an integrated experience, and provide replicable industrial models for the goals of "Digital China" and "Dual Carbon".
