Nubia, a brand under ZTE, officially announced that its emotional companion AI pet robot, iMoochi, which made its debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC26), will be officially launched on July 17th at 10:00 AM on the ZTE Mall and major e-commerce platforms.
As a new AI hardware product designed to meet the emotional needs of urban single residents, the launch of iMoochi marks ZTE's further expansion in the AI hardware field, moving from functional terminals toward life-like interactive experiences.
The AI pet robot is equipped with Unisoc T8300 chip, and features five touch and gravity sensing systems. It supports voiceprint recognition and memory growth. In terms of interaction experience, iMoochi breaks the "uncanny valley" effect of traditional voice interaction, featuring a customized cute voice and a dedicated language system created by professional voice actors. Through actions like head bumps and continuous petting, the device can trigger multi-dimensional feedback such as shaking its head and wagging its tail, and develop unique personalities and lifestyles over time.

The first batch of products will offer five different personality types, including lively (Hopami), quiet (Mimiu), and mischievous (Cynomi). Users can manage the device through the accompanying app and view companionship diaries and emotional status. As ZTE's strategy continues to focus deeply on the AI field, the launch of iMoochi not only enriches its native intelligent ecosystem but also provides a new business model for the industry's evolution from "AI phones" to multimodal "AI embodied companions."
