Singapore-based startup Acti recently launched an "intelligent agent keyboard" app for iOS and Android systems. The product aims to integrate AI assistants directly into the smartphone keyboard interface, which users interact with most frequently, breaking away from the fragmented experience of traditional AI applications.

This keyboard not only offers standard word prediction features but can also actively perform actions in various apps such as emails, messages, and social media. Users no longer need to frequently switch to separate AI apps during chats; the keyboard itself can build a contextual layer for users across different apps.

Natural Language Customized Skills

On the underlying technology, this keyboard is powered by Google's Gemini model and follows a "local-first" principle to strictly protect user privacy. Its core highlight is the "Skills" feature, allowing users to describe their needs in natural language to set up automated processes such as one-click translation or sharing links.

In terms of business model, Acti plans to generate revenue through a subscription system, offering more powerful model support and advanced features to paying users. Currently, the product has sparked users' creativity during the beta testing phase, with early users creating over 1,000 shareable public skills within just two weeks.
