At the recent Amazon Web Services China Summit, the domestic large model startup Moonshot AI disclosed the latest progress of its core product, Kimi. Data shows that Kimi's overseas paid users and API revenue have both grown by 400%, and the product has extended to more than 200 countries and regions globally, with its business covering key industries such as internet, finance, manufacturing, education, and healthcare.

Facing the current competitive environment, Moonshot AI has clearly defined its strategic focus on R&D. The company currently maintains a lean team of around 300 people and focuses its resources on underlying model development rather than just delivery work. Regarding its vision, Huang Zhenxin, the B-end representative of Moonshot AI, stated that Kimi's goal is to directly compete with the world's top forces in the AI field and to gain a voice in technological aspects.

Regarding technical iteration, Kimi's development speed has also attracted attention. The performance of its latest K2.7Code model has improved by 10% to 30% compared to the previous generation, further approaching industry-leading levels in programming and logical processing capabilities.

More excitingly, the company plans to release its new large model K3 in the third quarter of this year. According to reports, the parameter scale of this model is expected to jump to 2.52 trillion, the context window support will be increased to 1M, and the multi-modal processing capabilities will be comprehensively enhanced. In the current landscape where domestic large models are emerging one after another, Kimi's series of intensive iterations and expansions demonstrate its ambition and confidence to make a sprint toward the global top tier.
