China's "AI + PC" and cloud infrastructure sectors are witnessing a major cross-industry integration. At the AI Cloud Computer Experience Day event held on June 3rd, ZTE officially announced a deep strategic cooperation with Tencent. The two companies will join forces to launch a new AI cloud computer equipped with Tencent's native office intelligent agent WorkBuddy, marking that consumer and enterprise cloud terminals are accelerating into the era of large models.

This collaboration is not just a simple combination of hardware and software but a deep integration of underlying technical architecture. It is reported that this series of AI cloud computers will cover all categories of ZTE's cloud terminals, and their system bases will be pre-installed with WorkBuddy, and will be natively bound with Tencent's Huan Yuan large model and Tencent Cloud computing power support. By integrating cloud computing power and high-density intelligence into local hardware, the product is deeply adapted to multiple applications within the Tencent ecosystem, aiming to create a new generation of AI productivity tools tailored for students, professionals, OPCs (one-person companies), and small teams.

As the core highlight of this collaboration, Tencent WorkBuddy has gained high industry recognition and practical value. Data shows that in the domestic PC-side AI-native office intelligent agent market, WorkBuddy ranks first in both monthly visits and month-over-month growth rate. Within Tencent, more than 2000 employees without a technical background have already used this intelligent agent to improve their daily work efficiency. In practical application scenarios, WorkBuddy not only supports remote control through various communication tools, but new users will also receive a free quota of 5000 Credits, greatly lowering the threshold for ordinary people to use AI tools.

From an industry development perspective, the launch of AI cloud computers will also reshape the way people use computers in China. During the event, a senior executive from ZTE pointed out that although the household computer ownership rate in China has reached 67.5%, nearly 20% of devices remain idle for long periods, causing significant waste of resources. The popularization of cloud computers will drive the public's consumption concept to shift from "owning equipment" to "enjoying services," and users no longer need to worry about hardware iteration.

In fact, ZTE has long held an unshakable dominant position in the cloud terminal market. In the past year, ZTE's cloud computer terminal sales exceeded 2 million units and has won the Chinese cloud terminal market championship for two consecutive years. With the full support of the Tencent Huan Yuan large model and cloud computing power, the newly upgraded AI cloud computer will undoubtedly further expand the efficiency boundaries of cloud-native devices, accelerating the forefront process of enterprise and individual digital transformation.
