Under the trend of AI large models permeating edge-side hardware, the smart wearable market has seen a major player. On May 28, iFLYTEK officially launched the "iFLYTEK AI Glasses" at the BEYOND Expo 2026 in Macao, marking the deep extension of its voice and multimodal AI capabilities into consumer-grade hardware. The product is priced at 4,299 yuan, with full-platform reservation discounts available on the day of its release, and it is planned to start pre-sales on June 15.
As a smart terminal focusing on productivity and lifestyle services, the glasses integrate powerful edge-side AI computing power within an ultra-lightweight body weighing only 40 grams. The product supports real-time translation in as many as 122 languages, covering all scenarios such as calls, face-to-face interactions, and visual translation. It also utilizes a multi-microphone array and lip movement recognition technology to achieve high-precision noise reduction in complex and noisy environments.
Notably, the device is equipped with a GlassClaw AI assistant called "Lobster Assistant." In addition to multimodal recording and AI meeting note functions, GlassClaw has strong independent collaboration capabilities, allowing it to independently complete complex workflows such as business information collection, travel plan organization, and email sending without conventional connections to phones or computers.
Currently, AI glasses are becoming an important carrier for tech giants to build "ambient intelligence" and edge-side large models. By combining high-integration hardware with an independent AI assistant, iFLYTEK has not only expanded the application boundaries of multimodal interaction but also provided a new industry model for the evolution of edge-side AI from "a phone accessory" to "an independent computing platform."
