Global chip giant NVIDIA has recently announced plans to establish a new AI research laboratory in Singapore. The laboratory will focus on embodied intelligence, aiming to further deepen the company's strategic layout in automation and robotics through advanced technology.

Embodied intelligence refers to the technology that integrates artificial intelligence with physical systems in the real world, offering significant application potential in fields such as automated manufacturing and robotic systems. After the establishment of this research center, it will focus on improving the efficiency of AI model training and strive to reduce the operational costs of related infrastructure.

NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang stated that the interaction between AI and the real world is becoming the next frontier, which has the potential to solve long-standing bottlenecks in industries such as manufacturing and healthcare. Currently, NVIDIA has established relevant research teams in Shanghai and Taipei, and the addition of the Singapore laboratory will further expand its research footprint.
