Adobe announced on May 6 a new feature in its Acrobat products — PDF Spaces. This innovative feature aims to transform traditional static PDF documents and other file formats into interactive AI workspaces, allowing users to share and utilize information in entirely new ways.

PDF Spaces allows users to combine PDF documents, links, notes, and other content, and generate summaries, presentations, and more using AI technology. This means that previously dull static documents can now be transformed into interactive, customizable dynamic experiences, offering users a new way to process information.
When using PDF Spaces, users simply upload the PDF, document, or link they want to share, and the AI assistant can create a content structure based on user needs and automatically generate various output forms, including audio overviews and branded presentations. After creating a customized space, users can also add multimedia elements and adjust the focus of the content. Recipients can easily access the information they need by interacting with the customized AI assistant, making decision-making more efficient. Additionally, the automatically generated audio summaries help recipients quickly find key information, saving a lot of reading time.
