Baidu Intelligent Cloud recently announced at an internal strategic meeting that it has significantly increased its growth target for AI-related revenue in 2026 from the original 100% to 200%. This ambitious goal indicates that Baidu is mobilizing all employees to solidify and expand its leading advantage in the increasingly competitive AI cloud market, aiming to become the top player in the industry.

According to the latest bidding data, Baidu Intelligent Cloud has shown strong performance in 2025. In large model-related projects among major cloud vendors in China, Baidu has secured 109 winning bids with a total of 900 million yuan in contract value, maintaining its position as the leader in both the number of projects and contract value for two consecutive years. By comparison, the total amount of large model-related bidding in the domestic market in 2025 was approximately 2.7 billion yuan, with Baidu's market share exceeding one-third.

Considering the vast potential of the global AI cloud market, which is expected to exceed 400 billion US dollars by 2030, Baidu is building competitive barriers through comprehensive infrastructure upgrades. Currently, Baidu Intelligent Cloud has completed the upgrade of its new architecture "AI Infra + Agent Infra," providing an integrated solution from the underlying chips, AI cloud computing, large models to intelligent agent development. In the context where competitors like Alibaba and Huawei are focusing on self-developed chips, this strategic adjustment by Baidu indicates that the focus of the domestic cloud service market has fully shifted toward AI-native applications and computing power transformation.
