The Ministry of Education's Excellent Research Achievements Award (Natural Sciences and Engineering) is established by the Ministry of Education, awarded to university teachers, scientific and technological workers, and related units who have achieved outstanding results and made significant contributions in natural science research and engineering technology innovation, and who have contributed to the development of innovative talents. This award is nominated and evaluated every three years. Due to its long interval, low award ratio, and emphasis on serving the national strategy and original innovation capabilities, it has become an important benchmark for measuring scientific and technological contributions and the quality of talent cultivation. This award is a high recognition of the project team's continuous efforts and cutting-edge exploration in the fields of artificial intelligence basic technology and complex system engineering.

These two achievements also reflect the long-term investment of Ant Group in the fields of artificial intelligence and complex systems. Currently, with the deepening of social digitization, various industries are facing two prominent challenges: one is how to enable machines to truly understand the dynamic and complex relationships within massive and ever-changing data; the second is how to break down the barriers of data trustable flow between different systems during cross-industry and cross-institutional collaboration, achieving efficient collaborative operations.

Ant Group's two award-winning achievements focus on knowledge reasoning and dynamic modeling in complex semantic scenarios and cross-industry integration in modern service ecosystems, breaking through core challenges in large-scale industrial AI technology implementation.

The first achievement focuses on innovation in knowledge graphs. Addressing the challenges of advanced cognition in complex semantic scenarios, the team proposed an integrated technical framework of "building, querying, and mining." It has achieved a series of major scientific and technological innovations and breakthroughs in three aspects: full-time graph building, full-view graph querying, and in-depth graph mining. This technology not only can cope with the continuous evolution of massive heterogeneous data but also significantly enhances the depth and breadth of risk identification and intelligent decision-making through structural awareness and high-order association mining. It is now widely used in key areas such as finance and securities, becoming the core technological foundation for enterprise-level intelligent risk control and compliance management, ensuring that risk identification remains accurate and decisions remain reliable even in rapidly changing information environments. In the future, when deeply integrated with large model technologies, it will provide verifiable factual evidence and logical constraints for the reasoning and decision-making of generative AI, fundamentally improving the accuracy and credibility of the results.

The other achievement focuses on solving the "data silos" and "service barriers" in modern services. With support from multiple national-level scientific research projects, the project team has addressed core challenges such as business collaboration across institutions, service operations across networks, and data integration across domains, forming a complete chain solution from the underlying architecture to the application level, supporting the efficient collaboration and continuous optimization of complex service ecosystems across industries. This achievement has been implemented in a series of major projects and public welfare services, including the National High-resolution Special Project, internet medical care, and rural e-commerce. Through standardized service interconnection infrastructure and engineering foundations, it supports business collaboration across departments, levels, and regions, helping modern services to undergo digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading.

In today's era of continuous breakthroughs in artificial intelligence technology and deep integration with industry, how to transform the complexity of the real world into engineering and scalable system capabilities is a core issue that top global tech teams continue to tackle. Standing at the forefront of the new round of intelligent transformation, Ant Group will adhere to the dual drive of basic research and industrial innovation, and work with universities and industry partners to jointly explore how AI can bring greater value to society.
