At the recently concluded CES 2026, Samsung co-CEO Lee Jae-yong announced an ambitious plan, which aims to double the number of mobile devices equipped with Google's Gemini AI features to 800 million by 2026. This plan marks a significant transformation for Samsung in the field of artificial intelligence. The company's AI integration project is named "AX" (AI Transformation), covering product lines such as smartphones, tablets, televisions, and home appliances.
Lee stated that Samsung will apply artificial intelligence to all products, all functions, and all services as quickly as possible. He emphasized that AI will become one of the core driving forces for Samsung's future development. By the end of 2025, Samsung had successfully deployed Gemini-supported AI features on approximately 400 million devices.
