Samsung Display announced today that it will hold a private exhibition during the upcoming 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES2026), focusing on a series of next-generation OLED concept products designed for the AI era. Among them, a concept robot named AI OLED Bot became the star of the event, regarded as a new medium for deep interaction between humans and AI.
This AI OLED Bot is positioned as a small mobile intelligent platform, with its most notable feature being a 13.4-inch OLED screen as the robot's "face." Thanks to the high form freedom of the OLED panel, the robot can not only move freely within a designated space and interact with users, but also achieve curved or circular shapes. During the live demonstration at CES2026, it will act as a "university teaching assistant robot," performing tasks such as guiding students to find classrooms and displaying professors' profiles. Especially in quiet environments like libraries where voice commands are inconvenient, students can obtain course changes or homework notices intuitively through its high-resolution display.
In addition to the AI robot, Samsung Display also revealed several cutting-edge display technologies, including QD-OLED panels with a peak brightness of 4500 nits, RGB OLEDoS head-mounted displays for spatial computing, and a AI OLED Turntable (vinyl record player concept) that combines retro and tech elements. Samsung emphasized that the lightweight and flexible characteristics of OLED are breaking the physical limitations of traditional displays, offering endless possibilities for personalized expression and functional integration of AI hardware.
