Today, with the rapid development of intelligent vehicle technology, Great Wall Motor has once again attracted industry attention. After the Weipai Lanshan successfully equipped with an intelligent driver assistance system, the core brand of Great Wall, Haval, will also undergo a major upgrade — for the first time, equipping its models with urban NOA (Navigation Assistance Driving). This news undoubtedly injects new momentum into Great Wall's sales leaders.

According to the information, Haval's sales reached 528,000 units in the first nine months of 2023, accounting for 57% of the total sales of the Great Wall Motor Group. As the first model of the Haval brand to be equipped with urban NOA, the release of the Long Feng marks an important step forward for Great Wall in the field of intelligence. The popularization of urban NOA also indicates that future intelligent driving will penetrate more widely into the market, with the expected price range of vehicles equipped with this function being around 150,000 yuan.

In addition, Great Wall has adopted a diversified supplier strategy in the field of intelligence. The mid-level solution of Haval Long Feng initially chose a well-known supplier, but later changed due to various reasons. Currently, the high-end version of Long Feng will be equipped with Yuanrong Qixing's solution. Although Yuanrong used the VLA (Vision Language Action Model) in the Weipai Lanshan, it uses a different end-to-end technology in the Long Feng. Due to the higher computing power requirements of the VLA technology, the top configuration model of Long Feng uses the NVIDIA OrinY chip with a computing power of 200TOPS, which is unable to support a higher level of VLA.

The further cooperation between Yuanrong Qixing and Great Wall is continuously deepening. Great Wall not only optimizes its supplier selection but also invested 100 million U.S. dollars in Yuanrong last year, becoming the largest investment in the field of intelligent driving in China. This move further strengthens Great Wall's competitiveness in intelligent driving and also provides stronger technical support for the upcoming urban NOA solution.

In this round of the intelligence wave, the launch of Haval Long Feng not only brings more choices to consumers, but also allows buyers with a budget of about 150,000 yuan to look forward to a more intelligent driving experience. It can be imagined that in the future, when purchasing a car, asking "Does this car support urban NOA?" will become a new standard for consumers.
