Currently, a total of 611 generative artificial intelligence services have been filed nationwide, and 306 generative artificial intelligence applications or features have been registered. This marks the continuous deepening of regulation and management in the field of generative artificial intelligence in our country.

The notice pointed out that enterprises providing generative artificial intelligence services with public opinion attributes or social mobilization capabilities must go through the filing or registration procedures with the local cyberspace administration. In addition, existing generative artificial intelligence applications or features should prominently display on the product details page the information about the already filed or registered services used, including the model name, filing number, or launch number, to ensure transparency and standardization of information.

This filing work not only lays the foundation for the healthy development of generative artificial intelligence but also provides higher security guarantees for users to use related services. All relevant parties, while promoting technological innovation, should also bear corresponding responsibilities to ensure the compliance and legality of the services.
