Recently, Russia's "New Technology Alliance" launched its first domestically produced humanoid robot, Aidol, and demonstrated it live at a press conference on October 11. The robot was equipped with the ability to walk, manipulate objects, and communicate with humans, drawing widespread attention. However, during the demonstration, Aidol accidentally fell, sparking discussions among the audience and media.
Several media outlets recorded this incident. The development team described it as a "real-time training session." CEO Vladimir Vitushin pointed out that the robot had been tested in various environments, and the cause of the fall may be related to the lighting conditions or a system failure at that time. He explained, "The lighting was indeed not very good, and there might have been some voltage-related issues. Successful mistakes can turn into knowledge, while failed mistakes can turn into experience. We hope this mistake will provide us with valuable experience."

Aidol is not only capable of conversation but also has the ability to recognize emotions and can work offline, with all voice processing done locally independently. The robot is applicable to multiple fields such as manufacturing, logistics, banking, and airports. Its mobility speed can reach 6 kilometers per hour, and it can work autonomously for up to six hours, and it can grasp items weighing up to 10 kilograms. The development team stated that Aidol uses 77% domestically produced components and is committed to increasing the local content rate to 93% in the future.
Notably, Aidol's "key difference" lies in its "lively expressions" and its ability to express emotions. Its "face" is equipped with 19 servo motors, and it has seven microphones, enabling the recognition of at least 12 basic emotions. These innovative designs give Aidol a unique competitive advantage in the market.
