On November 10, Tencent Cloud officially announced on its official website that it will take down and switch some of its older large model versions to adjust for the continuous upgrading and iterative release of its large model technology.

According to the shutdown plan in the announcement, the DeepSeek-V3 model and DeepSeek-R1 model by Tencent Cloud will be officially taken offline starting at 00:00 Beijing Time on November 24, 2025. At that time, Tencent Cloud will no longer provide any access services for these two old versions of models.

Official Recommended Migration and Automatic Upgrade Arrangement

Tencent Cloud strongly recommends users to migrate to the latest stable version:

  • Recommended migration for DeepSeek-V3 model: DeepSeek-V3-0324 model

  • Recommended migration for DeepSeek-R1 model: DeepSeek-R1-0528 model

To ensure service is not affected, Tencent Cloud reminds all users who are using the old models to access services to check and complete the model name change work in a timely manner before November 24, 2025.

The announcement also states that for users who have not completed manual migration before the specified date, the system will implement automatic upgrade. At that time, the old versions of DeepSeek-V3 and DeepSeek-R1 models will be automatically switched to DeepSeek-V3-0324 and DeepSeek-R1-0528 models to ensure the continuity of the service.
