On June 30, Tencent Cloud, Ping An Bank, and China UnionPay officially launched the "AI Smart Computing Card," a dedicated debit card for individual AI computing power consumers. The card aims to solve the pain points of switching between multiple platforms and repeated recharges by aggregating basic financial services and exclusive computing power benefits, enabling a complete end-to-end experience for AI computing power consumption, tool usage, and daily finance with "one card."
The debit card is expected to be available for application starting in July this year through the Ping An Bank Mobile Banking App and offline branches. In terms of technology and functionality, the card provides one-click access to multiple mainstream AI large models aggregated on the UnionPay Cloud Computing platform. Its core benefit, the TokenPlan computing package, comprehensively covers high-frequency AI scenarios such as text generation, image understanding, and code assistance, and may also offer Tencent WorkBuddy points benefits, empowering the AI work and learning needs of various user groups, including content creators, university students, and freelancers.
According to the official qualification mechanism, users can progressively unlock from basic computing power to high-end computing power (such as GPU inference time and advanced model calling quotas) and additional WorkBuddy benefits by opening an account, using the card, and meeting asset requirements. In addition, Ping An Bank plans to launch an AI-themed credit card next month. Customers with both cards will enjoy联动 benefits such as accelerated accumulation of computing power points.
