Google's artificial intelligence model series, Gemini, has made significant progress: the latest preview version "gemini-3-pro-preview-11-2025" has been discovered on the Vertex AI platform. Although it is not yet available for use, this indicates that the model will be officially released this month, supporting an ultra-large context window of up to 1 million tokens.

According to technical communities and developer logs, the identifier of this preview model, "11-2025," clearly points to a release window in November. Vertex AI, the core tool of Google Cloud's AI development platform, has exposed the preliminary configuration of this model in web logs, including multi-level context support: standard level can handle 200,000 tokens, while the advanced level extends to 1 million tokens.
This not only continues the Gemini series' consistent scaling design but also optimizes input-output ratios and processing ratios for images/videos/audio. It is expected to significantly enhance the model's performance in complex tasks. Gemini 3 Pro is considered a major upgrade from Gemini 2.5, focusing on multimodal reasoning and agent-like intelligence. Its training data is reportedly up to August 2024, covering text, images, videos, and other multi-source inputs.

Industry analysts point out that this one-million token context window will make the model suitable for longer document analysis, real-time multimedia generation, and other fields. Especially for enterprise applications such as financial modeling, biotechnology simulation, and automated agent systems, it has revolutionary significance. The integration of Vertex AI on the Google Cloud platform will also provide API access and AI Studio preview channels, making it easier for developers to get started quickly.
This discovery originated from an accidental exposure during code reviews in the Vertex AI console, quickly sparking heated discussions in the AI community. Multiple technology media reports state that Google may officially reveal more details in mid to late November, while the full release may be postponed to December to ensure stability and security. Compared to its predecessor, Gemini 3 Pro is expected to surpass GPT-4o in benchmark tests, especially excelling in multimodal creative generation and code writing tasks.
Google has not yet made an official response to this matter, but the release notes of Vertex AI indicate that the platform is accelerating the iteration of the Gemini series, including image generation and function call fine-tuning features.
