Recently, Haier Group and Alibaba Group announced the signing of a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement, officially establishing a comprehensive AI collaboration. The aim is to fully leverage Haier's global ecological layout advantages and Alibaba's full-stack AI capabilities to jointly build a new digital industrial ecosystem and accelerate the innovative development of industrial AI.

According to the agreement, the strategic cooperation between the two parties will focus on three core areas: AI + Cloud, E-commerce, and Globalization, exploring new paths for the AI transformation of industries.

Human-Machine Collaboration

In the core area of "AI + Cloud," the two parties will carry out a full-stack AI collaboration based on scenarios + platforms + models + computing power. Focusing on core scenarios such as smart homes and intelligent manufacturing, they will jointly build industry-level models and deepen AI applications. Notably, the two parties will develop industry-specific models based on Tongyi Qianwen.

In advanced manufacturing, Haier and Alibaba will work together to build an overall AI service system from computing power, models, platforms, to applications. This will fully integrate Haier's Industrial Internet platform capabilities and Alibaba's deep layout in computing power, jointly promoting technological breakthroughs and application innovations of artificial intelligence in key scenarios such as manufacturing and services, accelerating the large-scale implementation of new technologies, new products, and new scenarios, and injecting new momentum into industrial intelligence.

In the e-commerce field, the two parties will deepen cooperation in domestic and overseas consumer markets. Relying on Haier's industrial strengths and Alibaba's overseas e-commerce system, they will build a cross-industry and cross-regional digital ecosystem.

In terms of globalization, Haier will collaborate with Alibaba to build an elastic heterogeneous computing platform and a highly available architecture that combines public and private clouds, creating stable and reliable cloud services worldwide. In addition, both parties will support Haier's development strategies in key overseas markets such as Southeast Asia through AI and big data.
