AIbase Report: On August 15, at the National Speed Skating Oval, the world's first comprehensive competition centered around humanoid robots was held. The humanoid robot H1 developed by SUITONG Technology won the historic first gold medal in the 1500-meter race. This "champion" is the same H1 that once appeared on the Spring Festival Gala and is also the first humanoid robot developed by SUITONG after its establishment.

SUITONG Technology founder Wang Xingxing said in an interview with Phoenix Tech at the scene: "The robot that won this time is the same one that appeared on the Spring Festival Gala, identical in every way. It's very symbolic. It's a 2023 model, which could previously reach up to 3.3 meters per second. Now it must be faster and capable of covering longer distances. This is a memorable event for the industry."

This competition attracted 280 teams and over 500 humanoid robots from 16 countries, including universities, companies, and top international teams. In addition to SUITONG's official participation, many universities and third-party competitors also chose to use SUITONG robots. SUITONG only sent the H1 to compete, and its performance in the training matches was evaluated by the industry as "unbeatable."

Regarding the competition challenges, Wang Xingxing pointed out that events such as the 1500-meter and 100-meter races are both entertaining and challenging. There are also upcoming events like the 400-meter and 4x100-meter relay. He revealed that the H1 has undergone software upgrades to optimize running speed and endurance. Unlike the "group automatic dancing" seen on the Spring Festival Gala stage, this time the focus was on extreme speed and endurance, with algorithms specifically adjusted for these goals.
