ByteDance's AI assistant, Douyin's Dounao, recently launched a major feature update. Its AI programming "Application Creation 1.0" is now officially available, offering users an unprecedented visual programming experience.

In the official update log on June 16, Dounao announced that the "AI Programming" feature now supports visual editing. This innovative feature allows users to directly edit in the preview interface after generating a web application, including modifying text content, intelligently replacing images, and precisely selecting local elements for adjustments, with ease comparable to editing a PowerPoint document.

The biggest highlight of this feature is significantly lowering the programming barrier. Even users without any programming background can quickly build fully functional web applications through an intuitive visual interface, truly achieving a "what you see is what you get" programming experience.

Notably, Dounao's AI programming feature was first launched on January 16 this year for desktop and web versions. At that time, it already supported multi-file uploads, GitHub repository integration, a new code editor, and programming self-learning assistance services. The addition of this visual editing feature marks another important step for Dounao in reducing the programming barrier and popularizing AI programming tools.
