Google Successfully Attacks OpenAI GPT-3.5-turbo Model at a Cost as Low as 150 Yuan

Singapore partners with Google and OpenAI to enhance its global AI standing, accelerating AI adoption in public services, healthcare, education, and enterprises. The collaboration focuses on four key areas including social governance, driving technological advancement and economic growth.....
OpenAI will set up its first overseas applied AI lab in Singapore, with a planned investment of over 300 million Singapore dollars (approximately 1.597 billion Chinese yuan), and gradually expand the team to about 200 people. This move marks an important step in its strategic layout in the Asian market, injecting strong momentum into the local technology ecosystem.
At Google I/O, DeepMind CEO Hassabis opposed the notion that AI would replace programmers, calling it a lack of imagination. He emphasized that AI should not be used as an excuse for layoffs, and technological progress should empower humans rather than replace jobs.
At the I/O Developer Conference, Google announced that it has invited specific experts to conduct API testing on its CodeMender code security AI agent. Developed by the DeepMind team, this tool has attracted significant attention since its debut in October last year. This external launch aims to fix global vulnerabilities.
Google adjusted its AI usage rules ahead of the I/O conference, introducing a detailed counter for the Gemini large model, marking the end of the 'almost unlimited' free era. The new rules no longer simply limit the number of chats but use a counting function to more precisely control user usage, indicating that free services will face stricter limitations. This move is intended to prepare for the upcoming Gemini upgrade and new hardware plans, but it came as a surprise to users.
