OpenAI announced that Indian users can enjoy free ChatGPT Go service for one year starting November 4th. The decision was made during the DevDay Exchange event in Bangalore. There is an urgent need for skilled labor in India that can address AI challenges and create value, as artificial intelligence transforms work and life. Participants will learn to create and deploy AI solutions suitable for different scenarios using Azure AI services. The project is divided into two levels, and those who complete it will receive Microsoft Application Skills Certification, demonstrating their AI capabilities in solving real-world problems. Participants who successfully complete both levels will also have the opportunity to win.
Among Indian employees, 59% are confident in adapting and utilizing AI tools. Only 19% of employers have implemented or are implementing next-generation technologies like Generative AI. Ethical AI principles are key to effective AI adoption, with 42% of respondents agreeing. Employer strategies include enhancing collaboration between AI and humans (37%) and retraining employees (25%).
