The AI product "Lingguang" of Ant Group has recently started a limited internal test of its new version, which fully aligns with Meta's personal intelligent agent Muse launched in September this year. According to people close to the project, the direction of Lingguang has been under preparation for half a year, going through multiple iterations, and is planned to be fully opened this month.
The core of this upgrade lies in Lingguang's transition from a basic chat and application generation AI assistant to an AI-native personal intelligent agent with long-term memory and the ability to proactively advance complex tasks. By calling Skills and MCP, the new version can achieve cross-application operations such as sending messages on Dingtalk and controlling smart home devices.
Its internal testing cases mainly focus on long-term and multi-variable scenarios, covering helping office workers track market fluctuations, assisting parents in managing Dingtalk check-ins, and automatically rearranging routes when encountering flight delays or tourist attraction restrictions during travel. This iteration marks that major domestic companies are accelerating their layout of proactive AI intelligent agents, driving applications to evolve deeply towards full-process task management.
