On September 22, Xiaomi officially announced that the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will be unveiled on September 23 at 7 PM, including two models: 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. The most eye-catching feature of this generation is the first-ever "Legendary Instant" large model imaging system. This system uses an end-to-end image large model to bring the optical blur of a camera to a smartphone, and the official claims that the image quality is comparable to that of a professional camera. Its strategy is smart: directly sending sensor data to the cloud, training with millions of sample images in multiple dimensions, and finally achieving a blur effect close to that of an optical lens.

On the hardware side, the Xiaomi 18 Pro series features the Leica dual 200MP imaging system for the first time, and both sizes are fully equipped. The combination includes a Leica 200MP ultra-large sensor main camera (1/1.28 inch) paired with a Leica 200MP ultra-large sensor telephoto lens (1/1.56 inch). Both lenses were jointly optimized by Leica and continue the classic color science and tonal style that Xiaomi has developed with Leica. The standard 200MP telephoto lens is especially well-equipped: a 1/1.56-inch large sensor, F2.4 large aperture, native 75mm golden focal length, supports 3.2x optical zoom and 12.8x lossless zoom, uses a dual-lens floating focus structure, and can also shoot 12cm telephoto macro. Compared to the previous generation, the long-range light intake of the 18 Pro increased by 280%, and the Max increased by 83%, making the confidence for distant shooting in low light much stronger.
