On September 21, during Baidu's AI Day open day, Baidu Wenku Cloud Drive announced accelerating its AI office expansion overseas and advancing global brand upgrades. The general-purpose AI agent "Kukai" has over 40 million monthly active users globally for AI office work. The overseas one-stop AI office platform Oreate AI, launched by Baidu Wenku Cloud Drive last year, was simultaneously refreshed as the overseas version of Kukai, "Kooko", and the number of overseas users exceeded 10 million within a year.
As a general-purpose AI office product that Baidu Wenku Cloud Drive introduced three years ago, Kukai, previously known as GenFlow, was launched in April 2025 with version 1.0 and quickly iterated to version 4.0 within a year, and an independent client was launched in August this year. The product covers scenarios such as general office work, academic research, financial investment analysis, legal research, code programming, and design creativity, supporting full-modal content delivery, online AI editing for Office, local and cloud collaboration, and remote control of multiple computers via APP.
