On September 20, during the 2026 Qiyuan Robotics Global Product Launch Event, Qiyuan, a consumer-grade humanoid robot brand under Shangwei New Materials, officially launched two humanoid robots: Qiyuan Q1 and Qiyuan T1.

Peng Zhihui (Zhihui Jun), Chairman of Shangwei New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and co-founder and CTO of Zhiyuan Robotics, introduced that Qiyuan Q1 focuses on customization, supporting custom-designed interactive actions and 3D-printed appearance modifications. Users can freely adjust the robot's appearance, personality traits, movement postures, and voice tones. Both products started pre-orders on August 23.

In terms of product positioning, Qiyuan Q1 is a personal robot, standing 88 centimeters tall, foldable and portable in a backpack, supporting customized structural components, and claiming to be "the world's first personal robot"; Qiyuan T1 supports switching between wheeled-legged and quadrupedal forms, and claims to be "the world's first transformable personal robot." On the hardware side, Qiyuan has independently developed the industry's smallest mass-produced "egg joint," weighing only 260 grams with a diameter of 47 millimeters, and achieving a peak torque density of 85 N·m/kg.
