On September 7th, according to media reports, WeChat is currently conducting a small-scale test of a new "Mini AI Social" feature, marking a key step in its native AI assistant's development in the field of Agent (intelligent entity) social collaboration. The official WeChat team has not yet responded positively to this news.

In the current internal testing business logic, users only need to issue intent instructions to their own account's "Mini," and "Mini" can then search for the "Mini" of the target friend across accounts to initiate an independent cross-platform conversation. After obtaining the other party's authorization confirmation, the two AI entities will first complete the demand connection and information exchange, and finally bring back the collaborative results; if the interaction process involves key decisions, the system will promptly remind the user to perform manual confirmation, forming a closed-loop process where "AI communicates first, and the user makes the final decision."

According to Tencent customer service, as a native AI assistant integrated into the top-left corner of the WeChat main interface, "Mini" previously had rich ecosystem connectivity and interaction capabilities, including operating settings, sending messages, making voice and video calls, and searching for Moments through natural language dialogue, initiating service mini programs for appointments or buying coffee, generating multimedia content through search, and providing summaries and reply suggestions within chat boxes.

The introduction of this "AI social" capability drives WeChat's "Mini" to evolve from a single-tool standalone assistant to a multi-intelligent entity collaboration network. This move not only highlights the strategic intention of leading social platforms to deeply integrate large model capabilities into the core ecosystem of instant messaging, but also indicates that future human interaction is accelerating toward a new stage of "Agent alignment" and "intelligent entity proxy socializing."
