AR brand Ray-Bird Innovation announced on August 18 that the first product of its new "Ray-Bird iO Series", the iO AI glasses, will be officially released on August 21 at 14:30. The series name "iO" comes from the computer term I/O (input and output). The official stated that it will focus on the next generation of personal smart terminals, using glasses as a daily device to establish a more natural interaction between people and the digital world.

Integrate AI capabilities "into" humans

The official positioned this product as a "human-enhancing AI glasses", emphasizing that it is not only for providing information, but also to help people see more, remember better, and express themselves more effectively, truly transforming AI into an extension of human abilities. The product will create applications around three dimensions: knowledge, expression, and memory, offering assistance in scenarios such as information acquisition, communication support, and content recording.

The wearing experience was a key focus of this design. Ray-Bird redesigned the entire machine structure, optical system, and frame shape, embedding the display module into a classic crown-shaped frame, using its self-developed light waveguide technology to make the display area of the lens almost invisible, with information naturally appearing in the field of view; the thin titanium alloy temple paired with a retro frame shape makes the entire device lighter and closer to regular glasses.

During the pre-release phase, the spokesperson Jiang Qiming wore the product together with Li Dan and Ke Jie, and Fan Wei also appeared in a fashion shoot for "Shang Cheng Shi". During the promotion of the movie "Welcome to Long Restaurant", Jiang Qiming appeared again. The new product has now opened for reservation, and specific configurations, functions, and prices will be revealed on the 21st.
