This means that Mac devices running macOS 26.6 and above, after enabling the relevant permissions, will fully unlock a brand-new AI experience, marking a qualitative leap in Siri's functional limits and intelligence level.

For a long time, the AI features on domestic Apple devices have had certain shortcomings compared to domestic terminals. Through the introduction of a mature Chinese large model service, Siri is now not only able to provide more in-depth answers for complex requests, but also has added the ability to deeply analyze photos and documents. In addition, the built-in writing tools in the system have also undergone a major upgrade, allowing users to directly complete text creation or image generation simply by describing their needs in daily language.

However, this new Qwen extension feature currently has clear usage requirements, and is only available to three specific groups of mainland users: the first group consists of users located in mainland China with their Apple account region set to mainland China; the second group includes users located in mainland China but who have not logged into any Apple account on their device; and the third group consists of users who purchased official mainland China versions of Mac machines through official offline stores or online channels.

Industry insiders pointed out that as Apple chooses to cooperate with Alibaba Qwen, domestic Apple users can now efficiently complete tasks such as daily office work, text and image creation, and life-related questions directly through their own device's AI, without having to frequently switch between various third-party software. At the same time, even if overseas Macs are upgraded, they cannot use this配套 feature, which gives the official mainland China version an unique advantage in local AI experiences.
