Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London last night. Just today, MinaCPM, a series of edge-side large models from Minding Intelligence, has deeply empowered Samsung Galaxy AI - this is the first time a domestic edge-side large model has entered the global flagship product line of an international top smartphone manufacturer.
According to the introduction, this time Minding Intelligence provides Samsung Galaxy AI with edge-side model capabilities, covering text understanding and multimodal perception. The new devices that have truly adopted this "domestic brain" are the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.

These two devices also have their own strengths. The Galaxy Z Fold8 features a new 4:3 ratio "wide fold" design, with an internal screen of 8 inches, dual 50-megapixel rear cameras, and a 4800mAh battery, completely moving away from the traditional narrow ratio of foldable screens, offering a visual and office experience closer to a tablet. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the first Ultra model in Samsung's foldable family, continuing the book-like fold design, equipped with a 200-megapixel main camera and a 5000mAh battery, firmly securing its position as the top of the foldable flagship segment.
