The open-source rhythm of large models is being tightened by leading domestic manufacturers. According to sources, Alibaba's latest generation large model, Qwen 3.8, will be released and opened source simultaneously, which means the Qwen family has taken another step forward in the open-source track.

The experience window for the new model has quietly opened. Currently, the preview version of Qwen3.8-Max has been launched on three platforms: Alibaba Cloud Token Plan, Qoder, and QoderWork. Users can now get a feel for the capabilities of this new generation of models. According to Alibaba's plan, the official version of Qwen3.8-Max will be released and opened source soon, at which time the complete model weights will be made available to developers.
