Maintainers stated that AI cannot take responsibility, so they expect each contributor to fully understand their code and have the ability to fix issues. Furthermore, AI-generated text is also prohibited in interpersonal communication, as maintainers hope to maintain authentic human interaction with contributors. Although machine translation is still allowed, the original content must be written by humans.
