On July 2nd, Alipay officially announced that its AI life assistant "Abao" is now open for public testing to all users. Starting today, iOS and Android users can search for "Abao" or "Ant Abao" in the app store or within the Alipay App without needing an invitation code to experience it directly. This move marks that the AI application has entered a larger scale of market testing and scenario practice after a month of internal testing and adjustment.

Since the internal testing started in June this year, "Abao" has accelerated iteration through real interactions. The latest public testing version highlights the deep optimization of its vertical domain large model for life services, with core upgrades focusing on precise understanding of ambiguous spoken language and scattered questions, achieving an interactive experience of "You say, Abao handles it." In terms of service ecology, "Abao" has completed full-scenario coverage and selected 72 high-frequency essential services from a vast number of service items to form a "Newcomer's Essential Guide." Additionally, the new version introduces a user companionship system, breaking the traditional tool attribute of "use once and done" through long-term interaction feedback and enhancing user engagement.
As an important layout of Ant Group in the application layer of large models, the comprehensive public testing of "Abao" reflects the accelerating pace of AI Agent (intelligent agent) in the field of life services. From targeted internal testing to no-barrier public testing, it not only relies on the improvement of the underlying vertical domain model's ability to understand complex life scenarios but also demonstrates the strategic determination of internet giants to convert large model technology into high-frequency consumer applications. In the future, such accompanying AI assistants are expected to further reshape the public service and business interaction forms of the mobile internet era.
