The Wall Street Journal reported that SpaceX showed an AI prototype in the form of a mobile phone to investors before its IPO, and Musk quickly denied the report on the social media platform X, stating that the information was completely false.
The report cited sources who revealed details about the prototype. The device runs SpaceX's self-developed system and integrates xAI artificial intelligence technology, with hardware using a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. The report also mentioned that the project is still in the early stages of development, and the product design has not been finalized, leaving the possibility of mass production uncertain.

Musk is actively pushing SpaceX to enter the AI field. The company has invested billions of dollars in building AI infrastructure, iterating the Grok large model, and developing space computing services. In February, Reuters previously reported that SpaceX plans to launch a mobile terminal that can connect to the Starlink satellite network, aiming to enter the smartphone market.
In January, Musk also publicly stated that a Starlink phone could be realized, and the product form and experience would be significantly different from current mainstream phones. The article also mentioned similar products in the industry, such as Microsoft's AI badge prototype for employees, which uses a Qualcomm wearable chip and focuses on 24/7 smart office assistant functions.
